About us

Apartments Miki are placed in the village of Donja Klada situated on the land, only 20 km away from the city of Senj in the Kvarner bay in northern Adriatic. Donja Klada is a beautiful little fishing village, with only 10 residents that live here throughout the year. In the last 10 years the village has transformed itself into a genuine tourist destination which completely comes to life during the summer season. This is what makes Donja Klada an ideal place for rest and relaxation during your vacation.

Apartments Miki were built in 1992 and every year are thoroughly refurbished and equipped, all to provide our guests everything necessary for a pleasant and carefree vacation. The apartments stand out with their position only a few meters from the sea, an incredible view of the islands Goli, Rab, Prvić and exceptional sunsets. In 2016 we have added a fully equipped swimming pool right next to the apartments.

Over 20 years of experience in catering and tourism guarantees that in our apartments you will feel at home. Our service is fully adjusted to you and your needs, all with a goal of a vacation you will remember throughout the year and until your next arrival.

Wine and brandy

We offer a fantastic white wine from the very North of Croatia, from the Međimurje district (Štrigova) and an excellent red wine from the island of Pelješac located in the South Adriatic near the city of Dubrovnik. This way homemade wines from our offer connect the North and the South of Croatia and bring you the very best of flavors for your palates. We also offer an exceptional Plum brandy (Šljivovica – “Medicine”) from the heart of the Croatian region of Slavonija.

The drinks are served on a terrace only a few meters from your apartment with a perfect view on the sea and unique sunsets. In any time of day, it’s possible to order something from a large variety of drinks.

Every day fresh bread is delivered right in front of the apartments to make your stay as simple as possible. Fresh fruit and vegetable vendor from the South of Croatia delivers his products every other day. Bofrost, ice cream and frozen fruit and vegetable van comes twice a week (on Tuesday and Saturday). These deliveries are available only in mid season, from June till September.

Private beach

Our private beach is located only 20 meters from the apartments and provides enjoyment in the crystal clear sea, perfect for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving and researching. The beach is big enough for sun tanning for your entire family and friends. Connected to the beach there is a natural swimming pool with sea water for the kids. All you diving, swimming and other equipment for relaxing in the sea can be stored overnight in a closed room right on the beach.

There is also a bigger natural pebble beach only 100 meters away from the apartments.

For our guest that are bringing or arriving with their boat, we have prepared a few boat berths right on our beach.

Smaller boats can be launched in the sea in Donja Klada, bigger boats can be launched in the village of Sveti Juraj, 20 km away and for even larger boats that require a crane to be lifted in the sea, there is a 25 km away city of Senj. All these details should be arranged with a prior notice.

Swimming pool

To expand our offer and to make your stay even more comfortable, in 2016 right next to the apartments you are able to enjoy a beautiful Biodesign pool only a few meters away.

The pool is made from the latest modern materials to blend in the ambient vegetation and natural stone, all with a goal to disturb the beautiful surrounding as little as possible. It is equipped with the state of the art filtration and cleaning technology, so you, your family and friends can carelessly enjoy the crystal clear water. Thanks to the heated fresh water, the pool can be used even when the sea is too cold to swim in.

After the all day activities, relax with the air and water features which the pool offers and allow yourself to be spoiled in the underwater massage as a perfect end of the day. Around the pool itself there are areas and terraces on which you can sun tan and enjoy in the beautiful view of the Adriatic sea and surrounding nature.

The pool is free to use for all our guests.

Other

Should you decide you want to make a barbecue, there is grill spot only a few meters away from you apartment. For larger events, board games and other amusements with your family and friends, you can use the large covered terrace with a see view. On the terrace you can also use the ping pong table with all the necessary equipment.

We have secured a single parking space for each apartment on our private parking which is located just in front of your apartment, so you can carelessly enjoy your vacation, knowing your car is safe.

Wi-fi internet connection is available for our guests with no extra charge as well.

2 persons - April, May, June, September, October: 82,- Eur

2 persons - July, August: 118,- Eur

2 persons - 15.07. - 15.08.: 144,- Eur

VAT and other fees are included in price.

Apartments are rented for a minimum of 7 days.

It's possible to rent a apartment for minumum of 3 to 6 days with a extra charge of 30%.
